Orthopedics is a branch of medicine that addresses conditions and injuries related to the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and even nerves. Orthopedic surgical services we provide
Properly diagnosing your condition is the first step to determining the right plan of care. We explore a nonsurgical approach to treatment, but sometimes surgery is the only way to ensure an optimal recovery.
Our orthopedic surgeons are trained in all types of ortho surgery and will partner with neurosurgeons for more complex back and neck conditions needing to be treated with spine surgery.
Joint care
We offer comprehensive care for aching and injured joints, including treatment for arthritis and infections. We also perform surgical procedures to replace or reconstruct the hip, knee and shoulder joints.
Joint replacement surgery
Sometimes your joints become so damaged due to arthritis or injuries that it causes intense pain and affects your mobility. In extreme cases, joint replacement surgery may be an alternative.
Joint replacement surgery is a procedure in which orthopedic doctors remove part or all of a damaged joint and replace it with an artificial implant. Patients who undergo this type of surgery can move their joints better and experience less pain.
We provide knee replacement, partial and whole hip replacement and shoulder replacement surgery.
Hand and upper extremity care
Your arms and hands are composed of many joints, bones, muscles and tendons. Not having full use of these body parts can be extremely frustrating and limit your ability to perform everyday tasks.
We offer treatment for hand and upper extremity conditions, including disorders of the wrists, elbows and shoulders. This includes carpal tunnel surgery and rotator cuff repair.
Foot and ankle care
Experiencing a limited range of motion in your feet and lower extremities can make something you take for granted, such as walking around your home, difficult and painful. From treating hammertoes to a ruptured Achilles tendon, our orthopedic foot specialists can identify the cause of your condition and get you back on your feet safely.
Minimally invasive surgery
Many surgeries can now be performed using minimally invasive surgical techniques, meaning the procedure is done through smaller incisions than traditional open surgeries. For example, we perform hip and knee arthroscopic surgeries using a tiny camera to see the condition of the joints.
Smaller incisions lead to a variety of benefits for our patients, including less pain, reduced scarring and less blood loss, resulting in a quicker a quicker recovery time and return to normal life.
