Imagine a day when physicians and other clinicians can log in to TriStar Ashland City's clinical portal with one sign-on, electronically sign unsigned orders and charts, and guide their patients' care from virtually any location with an internet connection. You don't have to imagine. . . that day is here! Through the portal, physicians can access clinical data for patient care. Doctors can complete their incomplete records as part of a new Health Information Management (HIM) Shared Services model that launched in tandem with the portal. They can even access the portal remotely - whether they're in the office, at home, or traveling.

Colleagues across HCA have worked tirelessly in bringing a collective vision for the role of electronic health records in the care of our patients. We celebrate these accomplishments as we introduce physicians to a set of tools that will ultimately help them provide safe, effective, efficient and quality care for the patients we’re privileged to serve.
