On September 12, TriStar Summit Medical Center opened a newly renovated Cath Lab, with almost $1M upgrades which included the new GE Innova- IGS 520. “By putting this advanced system in the hands of our medical experts, it furthers TriStar Summit’s mission of providing state of the art care to the communities we serve”, states Brian Marger, CEO, TriStar Summit Medical Center. Our new technology allows the cath lab team to use an advanced digital X-ray imaging system to see detailed, real-time images of patient anatomy, while minimizing the required radiation dosage.

“We are very excited about our new state of the art Cath Lab. Not only will our new lab improve access for our growing community, it will also enable us to provide superior care to our patients in a timely manner. This is just another example of TriStar Summit’s commitment to excellence,” said Todd Dorfman, interventional cardiologist with Centennial Heart.
